My dear Students,

A heartiest welcome to P A Sangma Foundation Abong Noga College and a big thank you for having chosen this College for your future career. First of all, I congratulate you for your success in the last academic examination that you have appeared, and I am sure and hopeful that you will continue to come out successful in all the future examinations that you may be appearing through this College. I wish you all a great success.

I also take this opportunity to remind each and every student that we are living in a very competitive world where success comes through your participation in competitions, be it for the job or for the admission to the institutions. Competitions have become very competitive in nature, and unless you are well-prepared you may not be able to land up in the institution or the job of your choice.

May I, therefore, advice you all to be very careful in choosing your subject of career. Please think carefully and choose carefully so that the subject of your choice is the subject of your interest. Please also remember that you are grown up and are able to think independently and that nobody should enforce you to choose your subjects, your career and your future, because your future is in your hand.
